WATEEN made news this friday for a wrong reason. They fired roughly 150 people. There are many speculations about the reasons but at the moment its not clear. I have also heard many stories from within the company, like people not performing upto the task and failing to meet targets were fired. I would not comment furthur about the exact reasons for now but one thing is for sure that WATEEN was facing inter-departmental stress and inefficiencies at various placements specially their field department. However this might not be necessarily the start of a downhill trip, this could become a step towards imrpovement (if their processes get streamlined a bit). Lets see what they have in stores for their customers.
