Under the shadows of security threats and numerous delays SOFTEC 2008 finally happened. Even though the event was not outstanding in terms of turnout (thats understandable due to scorching heat, security threats attached and incomplete publicity due to delayed dates) but the event hosted many attractions which were splendid as ever.
These include IdeasXtreme (a lot of kids from various schools participated), Software Competition (some good projects and surprising winners), Programing competition (loads of entries), Microcontroller interfacing (turning out to be a cool addition), Engineering project competition (to my surprise there were quite good entries over here), kids corner (where all the kids have loads of fun), G3n.x gaming competition (which is as impressive as ever) and a Startup Insider session.
