I came to know, China Mobile is going to invest as much money in start as much Mobilink done since it is started. So i guess they will be big and something will be good.

Zong could not survive if they will not give better services than Warid and Mobilink.

Just read it … it was good i noticed it while going through express pages some days ago.

Its not like that china mobile will blow things away .. but they are surely going to build a strong market ….

Yeap the news is true .. China Mobile’s CEO visited Pakistan last week and kicked off the marketing Campaign. To your surprise, China mobile has invested so much, it’s network is 4 times bigger than Ufone on the Core-side and for the Covered cities, they’ve just awarded contract, once finished, they will be share-holder of 1/4th of market’s total covered sites deployed so far, bigger than any other operator.

I have no doubt this zong thing will click….!!!!! and that’s what i’ve been telling everyone from past 6 months : )

You cannot say anything about this yet. Zong is new. They are implementing latest technologies but no body knows will they be able to handle large traffic. I think they were thinking of implementing 3G and GSm both but at this time i am not sure about it as I am not in Pakistan for last 3 months but they will be truely tested when they will face this heavy traffic speacialy in night packages which they are offering. This will be their real test as I always dislike telenor and move to warid because telenor was unable to handle that traffic (and still with their much sophisticated network and well planned sites atleast I had problems with telenor) which warid was(I can in Lahore can hear voice clearly and warid clopse completely lot less than other networks. Sheikh ka paisa bolta he). I am not including mobilink and ufone as mobilink has as a result of trying to make things better has made their network so complex that i think it will be a nightmare for them when they will be moving to new future technologies wereas I dont know i never consider ufone as a competitor.
